Also may be known as Margosa, indica, and Nivarini. The tree begins to bear fruit after five years, and produce up to 110lbs of fruit a year. Its fast growth, quick maturity and high production combined make the neem tree, and is one of the most valuable plants in India. Parts used are the leafs (dried) and the oils from the seeds.
Neem leaf has been traditionally used to treat infection, pneumonia, ulcers, burns, diarrhea, urinary disorders, inflammatory conditions, burns, skin diseases,(acne and eczema) and has antiviral properties.
